Wharfedale Grange Wedding Venue Review
A new purpose built wedding venue has opened just outside of Leeds & Harrogate and very near to Harewood House in Yorkshire. Vibetown played their first wedding band gig there and were very impressed with what this new venue has to offer! Read on for our full Wharfedale Grange Wedding Venue Review
Wharfedale Grange is a fantastic wedding venue set amongst the glorious backdrop of the North Yorkshire countryside. The venues official website says of the new wedding venue…
“…Once upon a time, nestled in the emerald fields between Leeds and Harrogate, there was a beautiful collection of run-down barns just waiting to be restored to a glory that hadn’t ever been considered before… along came a Style Queen with exceptional good taste running through her veins, and with blooming flowers, flourishing fruits and a King’s ransom, she brought them back to life…”
Well if that’s not as enticing description as I’ve ever heard, I don’t know what is. The website goes on to say…
“…Wharfedale Grange is bathed in luxury – this truly magical redevelopment of four barns is being completely transformed into a farmhouse-luxe paradise. As your Fairy Godmother, we grant you one of the most exclusive retreats in Yorkshire, with a breathtaking vista that spans from Kirkby Overblow to Weeton, taking in the whole of the North Park of Harewood House, your wedding dreams can finally come true. You and your loved ones will be enchanted with our modern-yet-timeless vibe, in which we’ve thought of everything. We call it ‘Romantic Industrialist’…”
Our first experience of the venue was very good, the purpose built reception area had an adequate size stage for a small band and the in house PA system supplied was good enough to fill the room with music! We had the dance floor filled and the large open space was great as it allowed for people to dance if they so wished or simply chat with friends and family at the back.
The set up allowed for a lovely atmosphere which is perfect for a summer wedding. We can’t wait to go back 🙂
